ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

PCL Corporatewear is a corporate clothing and promotional goods supplier operating from offices in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. As a modern, expanding company we are determined to reduce our environmental impact. This policy sets out our aims and objectives.

Responsibility

We strongly believe in leading by example. With that in mind, our Managing Director, Jane Mines has taken overall responsibility for the implementation and ongoing monitoring of this policy, alongside all staff, who will be given specific responsibilities.

Resources

Time will be regularly set aside to enable us to meet our objectives and review our targets.

Objectives

- To reduce waste by recycling paper, ink cartridges and by limiting the use of printed material. To use recyclable packaging and products where possible.
- To increase energy efficiency by using low energy light bulbs, an efficient heating system, lowering thermostats, turning off electricity at night.
- To limit business mileage by using alternatives such as conference calls and public transport as appropriate.
- To endeavor to use suppliers with environmental ethics and to inform customers and suppliers of our environmental commitment.

Targets

- To inform all customers and suppliers that we are undertaking an environmental obligation as set out in this policy by August 2008, and thereafter inform all new customers and suppliers.
- Make every employee aware of their individual obligations relating to this policy by August 2008
- To reduce waste and energy consumption by a minimum of 20 percent in the first year (by April 2009)
- To look closely at the environmental policies of our suppliers by August 2008.

Monitoring and Auditing

We will review and update our policies regularly and monitor our progress at monthly Management meetings.
